Our official statement on Kosher certificationUpdated a month ago

To our community,

This one is difficult to write.

From the beginning, it has always been our intention to supply products that are kosher certified. We worked extremely hard to earn that certification, and we know how meaningful it is to many of you who have supported us

Effective April 2nd, 2026, products produced by Mid-Day Squares will no longer be certified kosher.

Here is the honest reason.

We manufacture all of our products on one production line. As we prepare to launch a new flavor, we have been unable to source one key ingredient in kosher-certified form, despite significant effort and outreach.

Because we produce multiple flavors each week on a single line, we cannot alternate between kosher and non-kosher production without undergoing the formal kosherization process between production runs.

We always maintain extremely high standards of sanitation and food safety. This is not about cleanliness. The kosherization process is a separate, careful religious procedure, and repeating it between production runs is not operationally feasible for us at this time.

For that reason, products produced on or after April 2nd, 2026, will no longer be kosher-certified.

What is important to know:

  • The product quality has not changed

  • The formulation has not changed

  • The taste has not changed

  • Our safety standards have not changed

  • Our values have not changed

Although this change will take effect promptly, there will continue to be kosher‑certified products available online and in retail stores during the transition period.

How to identify which products remain kosher-certified:

  • Products that feature the “COR” badge on the front of the packaging remain kosher-certified.

  • All products that do not feature the "COR" badge will not be kosher-certified

We are still actively searching for kosher-certified suppliers for this ingredient. If we are able to secure a viable and protected supply chain solution, we would pursue reinstating certification. It remains something we care deeply about.

To our kosher community, we are sincerely sorry. We understand this may be disappointing. Please know this decision was made carefully and responsibly.

We will continue to keep you updated as we work toward a solution.

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for your patience.

And thank you for being part of this journey with us.

With respect,

Lez, Jake and Nick
